Short story, everything. When you learn enough about something, you start enjoying its complexities and peculiarities. Until now, I have always focused on Bioinformatics and Systems Biology in the Biomedicine and Immunology fields, but I am curious about everything and I love finding synergies. I am passionate about Research. You need to stay updated everyday, but this is a good thing. You constantly learn new things and meet new people! Apart from my daily job, I am also the President of the Association of Spanish Scientists in the Netherlands, and I love being able to coordinate projects, events and teams in order to do Science communication and activities and for everyone.

I have always been a proactive person, and I have experienced that being determined, hard-working and positive is the key, maybe not always for success, but certainly for enjoying your life and giving your best. Having a good or bad experience, the important thing is that you learn from it and do better the next time.

Apart from this… I love reading, travelling, watching cinema, meeting people, organizing things and trekking! Amsterdam is an amazing city to stay, and there is always something to do.
